BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, Territory & Quota resides within the Sales Effectiveness Team, in the Sales Operations organization, and spearheads a variety of key functions to enable business processes to scale, grow and evolve with our rapidly evolving sales organization. The manager will be responsible to lead the Territory and Quota processes and teams to operational excellence.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and drive the roadmap, development and implementation of territory & quota management processes and tools

  • Lead the strategy and vision of intelligent territory and quota development and quota through processes and tools

  • Lead cross-functional efforts in building scalable methodologies, supported by processes, reporting and analytics

  • Partner with IT, Sales Compensation, Sales Operations and Sales Leadership in executing projects that continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of territory and quota

  • Leads and manages the annual quota setting process, along with the regular monthly maintenance of quotas throughout the fiscal year

  • Manages the territory management and optimization team and process to ensure we are leveraging our selling resources to deliver the highest ROI

  • Performs and/or manages the financial modeling and productivity analysis of the business to determine the dynamics that drive company performance

  • Collaborate with FP&A (Sales Planning) to lead sales planning, quota setting and analysis of attainment

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, research, prioritize and solve problems that maximize impact and value for all stakeholders

  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined in the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review, and development of associates, as required

  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose

  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business / finance or a related field is required

  • 5+ years of Sales Operations experience with leading multiple complex initiatives from conception to execution in a fast-paced work environment

  • 3+ years of experience in territory and quota management preferably with experience using SAP Commissions or Callidus Cloud

  • 2+ year of experience managing associates is required

SKILLS:

  • Ability to toggle between strategic and detail-oriented thinking

  • Advanced critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Very strong analytical and data visualization skills

  • Superior communication and presentation skills required

  • Skilled in planning, organizing and project management

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 10% of the time are required.
