The position of DC Manager requires overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities. Ensures that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s efficiency and service levels.


  • Coordinating operations in the Warehouse.

  • Scheduling- prioritizing customer orders, transfers and secondary processes.

  • Building team focus & resolving conflict as required.

  • Communicate job expectations and coach associates.

  • Executes smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and requirements of customers and suppliers.

  • Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.

  • Control and manage inventory.

  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and associates performance.

  • Facilitate a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with laws and regulations.

  • Visiting Customers and customer engagement

  • Corporate and Divisional Cross Functional projects/meetings

  • Some travel is required up to 25%

  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.

  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Operations Management or minimum five years of warehouse management experience required.

  • DOT Physical


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Effective problem identification and solving skills required.

  • Basic Math Skills

  • Good analytical skills required.

  • The ability to recognize and react to changes in operations and technology

  • Good persuasive and negotiating skills

  • Exceptional training – coaching skills
