BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Vending Program Supervisor, this position is responsible for executing activities to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for MSC’s vending customers. Primary duties include accurate account set-up (ship to & customer contact information) in AS400, EDI order transmission set- up, coordinate inventory stocking levels, validate customer pricing and provide support to the implementation team during installation of vending equipment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Updates customer accounts in AS400 with new vending ship to numbers, customer contacts and coordinates with Branch Sales Managers for OSA assignment.
Coordinates with MSC’s B2B team to set up EDI account in support of automated ordering.
Loads customers vending account within MSC’s vending software (web portal).
Coordinates with MSC’s purchasing team to set CFC stocking levels for items managed in the vending units.
Coordinates loading customer sell price in AS400 for approved vending items.
Prior to installation date, complete a data review of customer’s account to ensure inventory availability and customer sell prices are uploaded. Work with project stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies.
During Install, coordinate with implementation team to test EDI orders and confirms equipment packing slip for invoice payment validation.
Updates project trackers and provides status updates to managers.
Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission.
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate’s Degree is preferred.
Minimum of one year customer service experience is required.
Computer literacy and proficiency with email, various internet browsers and windows operating system required.
Previous experience within vending related business preferred.
Supply Chain Management experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently required.
Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision (self-starter) required.
Excellent time management skills required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.
Ability to work in a team environment required.
